The implementation of the project "Development of Team Spirit for the Implementation and Incorporation of EU Values in Ukraine" (TEAM-EU-UA) is aimed at promoting social integration through sports. It encourages participation in sports and physical activities, enhancing the potential of partner organizations and implementing best practices to support schoolchildren, including displaced children living in the EU and Ukraine. The project includes organizing sports and environmental events.

Special attention in the project is given to children with special educational needs to strengthen their sense of identity and belonging to the European community through exposure to various cultural and sporting events.

The specific goals of the project are:

1. To build a network of partner organizations in the EU and Ukraine, which would aim to exchange positive experiences and best practices for developing team spirit among schoolchildren currently living in the EU, including those with special educational needs;
2. Strengthening social integration through sports by creating and supporting initiatives that contribute to integrating schoolchildren and immigrant children through their involvement in sports and physical activities;
3. Promotion of gender equality through sports in the organization and implementation of activities aimed at supporting and developing schoolchildren's skills regardless of gender;
4. Develop innovative methods that will comply with the norms and principles of the EU sports policy, promote European values, and focus on the education and training of sports coaches and physical education teachers who will work directly with migrant and refugee children, including children with special needs;
5. Develop an educational program to prepare young people from Ukrainian universities to volunteer in sports and environmental events for schoolchildren and migrant children;
6. Increasing environmental awareness among schoolchildren in the EU and Ukraine by involving them in various environmental activities;
7. Development and implementation of new methods and innovations in non-formal education, especially in the context of sports;
8. To elaborate a strategy for the dissemination of project results for universities, state administration bodies, and public organizations through sport;
9. To promote the further dissemination of EU sports policy, including the positive experience and best practices of partner organizations of the EU and Ukraine, and using sport as a tool for post-conflict reconciliation, strengthening dialogue and mutual understanding between different communities.
